In October 2018 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wojciech Forysinski participated in the second edition of the 'Beyond Europe' international conference, organized and hosted by the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan, Poland. The conference was attended by participants from France, United States, Israel, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Japan, Ukraine, Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan, Nigeria and North Cyprus. The conference focused on 'Reconnecting Eurasia' and provided a unique opportunity to openly discuss the latest advancements in many politics-related disciplines and exchange views on current issues connected with the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative. The conference covered a wide area of subjects, including, inter alia, US-EU-China economic cooperation and rivalry, methodology of Political Science and International Relations, global terrorism, international conflict, perspectives  on BRICS. Dr. Forysinski presented a paper on 'Africa and International Law: A Framework for Analysis' dealing with the international legal aspects and impact of the Belt and Road Initiative on Africa. The third edition of this conference will take place in December 2019.
