Department Research Assistant, Alina Rozmamedova, participated in the "Kartepe Summit 2018-Migration, Refugees and Humanity" conference. The conference was held October 26-28, 2018. Mrs Rozmamedova presented a paper entitled "Media's role in Shaping Attitudes among the Political Elite and the Public in Britain and in Canada" as a part of a panel that included the head of the UNDP in Turkey as well as the mayors of the cities that are hosting refugees in Turkey.
